Here's a heap of snapshot samples of the synare 3, a vintage analog drum synth circa 1980. They were recorded through an avalon u5 and mackie mixer, and are completely dry. Theres percussion and alot of synth type sounds.

This is a little piece i created in fl studio after messing around with the stock synth plug-in. I felt as though someone can use it for a multitude of reasons.

Five is four: a polyrhythmic analog-synth loop with ambiguous five or four time signature. Slightly frantic sounding, arpeggiator-like rising pattern a bit like a shepard tone, it's a 5/4 pattern, but accents are distributed in 4/4. 180 bpm, key is a-minor (a-minor then f-major). Two loops marked in wav file, first is the bare synth pattern, loop is samples 0 to 640,000; second is with a pad, loop is samples 960,000 to 1,600,000.

These samples come from a gakken sx-150, a small analogue synthesizer kit that was released in japan 2008 as part of the gakken hobby magazine series. This is part of a set of samples demonstrating the capabilities of the diy version of the hexinverter mutant clap module (eurorack/modular synth). Of particular note is the noise bleed present in some hexinverter diy products as discussed on the muffwiggler forum. Except where noted as "with vca," all samples are recorded without added effects or processing. "with vca" samples have been tidied up with an envelope modulated vca. One may choose to see the bleed as a feature or flaw. . .

It was voice samples vocoded and re-processed many times in different programs. Mainly alot of delay and reverb but some vocoding as well.

Boink. These are part of a set of "boink" samples i made using a nord micromodular randomly fming to itself. They're really useful for minimal or glitchy techno and tech house. In the spirit of hitting 10000 samples, i've got about 200 more of these, so if you like them get in touch and i can send some more. . .

Samples of the vintage korg mini pops 45 drum machine. No processing applied here but a very gentle fft based noise reduction. After all, i figured background noise was part of the machine's sonic identity. No patterns here, since that would have taken forever, just the individual sounds.
